Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference looking for science writers

The University of Washington Puget Sound Institute in collaboration with the 2014 Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference is looking for science writers to contribute to a series of proceedings summarizing important conference sessions and presentations. Students or professional science writers are encouraged to send a resume or biosketch and a writing sample to eops@uw.edu. Writers will work under the guidance of the Encyclopedia of Puget Sound editorial board or other experts to document and describe important threads and subjects presented at the conference. Articles will be approximately 1000 words and will place the information in the context of Salish Sea recovery. Writers will attend the conference from April 30-May 2nd and will receive free registration and meals. Articles will appear on the Encyclopedia of Puget Sound website.
Conference writers will be selected by April 16th.
