Habitat and Ecology

This fish is found over soft substrata in deep coastal areas, as well as in shallower areas in estuaries and mangroves. It feeds on mobile invertebrates and has pelagic eggs and larvae (Galvan-Magana et al. 2000). This species is found from 3-305m.
