1987 Puget Sound Water Quality Management Plan

This document is the 1987 Puget Sound Water Quality Management Plan;
adopted by the Puget Sound Water Authority according to it's statutory
mandate in RCW90.70.
The document is organized into seven chapters the action plan is contained
in Chapter 5. Chapters 1 through 4 provide an introduction, background
information on the resources and condition of Puget Sound, demographic
analysis, and a summary of the existing laws and programs affecting Puget
Sound. Chapter 6 discusses procedures to oversee compliance with the plan.
Chapter 7 outlines the "unfinished agenda"--issues to be evaluated in the
preparation of the 1989 revision of the plan. A glossary, a list of acronyms,
and a copy of RCW 90.70, the statue establishing the Authority, arc provided
at the end of the document.
