1992 State of the Sound
The third State of the Sound Report summarizes what is known about Puget Sound, its resources, and trends that threaten it.
The Washington State legislature directed the Puget Sound Water Authority to regularly prepare a State of the Sound report describing the condition of Puget Sound and related activities to protect the resources and habitats. The 1992 State of the Sound sets the stage for some of the actions thought to be necessary to protect and enhance the Sound in the 90s and beyond.
