Ecology and Life History
Short General Description
A hemiparasitic perennial herb with erect or decumbent stems in large clusters. Stems are 8-15 cm long. Produces bright red inflorescences in summer (most of the coloration is due to scarlet tipped bracts, rather than flower petals).
