Ranunculus glaberrimus var. reconditus
A compact perennial buttercup 2 to 7 in (5 to 20 cm) tall with finely dissected leaves and 1 or several bright yellow flowers on a 3 to 6 in (8 to 15 cm) stem. Nectary scale is unfringed usually.
