Levees and Salmon Habitat

Prepared at the request of the Puget Sound Partnership, this map shows the location of levees and salmon habitat in Puget Sound area rivers and streams. It includes an overview of the Puget Sound area and a detail of the Green and Cedar Rivers.

The salmon habitat is an aggregation of four layers from ERMA:

• Chinook Salmon Critical Habitat (NMFS, 2005)
• Steelhead Trout Critical Habitat (NMFS, 2005)
• Chum Salmon Critical Habitat (NMFS, 2005)
• Habitat Areas for the Puget Sound Chinook Salmon ESU
