2020 Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference

The 2020 Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference took place April 21st and 22nd in an online format due to COVID-19 restrictions.

2020 theme: The Salish Sea: Shared Knowledge for the Future. The Salish Sea Ecosystem Conference attracts over a thousand participants and has become the premier scientific research and policy gathering in the Pacific Northwest. The goal of the Conference is to provide a platform to build shared policies, practices, and procedures necessary to guide future actions for protecting and restoring the Salish Sea. The outcome is improved scientific collaboration, data sharing, and dynamic discussions on the state of the Salish Sea ecosystem. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 conference took place virtually.
