Species: Arabis x divaricarpa

Plantae - Anthophyta - Dicotyledoneae - Capparales - Brassicaceae - Arabis - Rollins uses an 'x' in the name, indicating nomenclatural treatment as a hybrid rather than as a species. Also treated as a hybrid by Kartesz (1994 checklist and 1999 floristic synthesis) but as a hybrid-derived species (showing no recent hybridization) by Mulligan (1995, Arabis synopsis, Rhodora 97: 109-163). Mulligan also recognizes two varieties within this species, var. divaricarpa and var. dacotica. Kartesz (1999) treats the var. dacotica under A. holboellii var. collinsii, following Rollins (1993), who has revised his lectotypification of the mixed-collection type specimen of Arabis collinsii, now considered synonymous with Arabis collinsii, rather than A. divaricarpa.
