Global Range
Sierra Nevada of California and adjacent Nevada, north to the Cascade Region in Washington. Disjunct in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, and in central Idaho; Shoshone, Lemhi, and Custer Counties (U.S. Forest Service, 1990). Five counties in Utah (Welsh, 1993).
