Short General Description
A perennial herb, 1-2 dm tall or smaller (sometimes low and mound-like), that produces flower heads with white, pink, or blue ray and yellow disk flowers in high summer.

Global Range
Known from central Vancouver Island, British Columbia and from north-central Washington state (Okanogan, Chelan, Kittitas, and Snohomish counties). Using GIS tools, range extent was calculated to be approximately 40,000 square km.
