Global Range
Occurs throughout much of Nevada (Kartesz, 1988). In California, occurs in the northwestern portion of the state, in the high Cascade Range and Sierra Nevada, and in the Great Basin portion of the state (Hickman, 1993). Commonly in talus or on scree slopes at 2745 to 3660 m in nine Utah counties (Welsh, 1993).
