Global Range
Native to the Mediterranean region. <i>Ornithogalum umbellatum</i> is globally widesprea but not so common in its native North Africa as well as Europe. In Europe, it is found from Portugal and Spain in the west, south to Italy, north to parts of France and east to Turkey (Rhoades and Block, 2000).
