Global Range
Distribution of Plagiochila satoi var. satoi in western North America: coastal Alaska, British Columbia, California (Humboldt County), Oregon (Clackamas and Douglas Counties), Washington. Also occurs in Asia, but not Europe. Plagiochila satoi var. magnum is endemic to western North America and is known only from Queen Charlotte Islands in British Columbia, and from Alaska (Hong 1992). In Asia, Plagiochila satoi occurs in Japan and Korea (Hong 1987).
