Short General Description
Velvetleaf Blueberry is a low to mid-height shrub that is 1-4 dm tall with hairy twigs. The elliptic-shaped leaves are thin, soft, hairy, and about 1-4 cm long. The greenish-white flowers are sometimes tinged with purple; they occur in short clusters and are cylindrical-shaped with 5 corolla lobes. Berries are blue, glaucous, and 4-8 mm wide.
