Global Range
F - 20,000-200,000 square km (about 8000-80,000 square miles) - F - It occurs throughout much of the northwestern U.S., apparently being more common in Oregon and Idaho than in California (Meyer and McCafferty, 2007a; 2007b; 2008). It also occurs in the intermountain West Colorado drainage area of Utah and Colorado (formerly as <i>Baetis moqui</i>) (McCafferty et al., 2008).
