Global Range
DE - 1000-20,000 square km (about 400-8000 square miles) - DE - Although the actual existence and validity of this species described by Edmunds (1960) was doubted in the recent past (Pescador and Berner, 1981), its type was recently found in the California Academy of Sciences, proving both its existence and uniqueness. New records were reported by Webb and McCafferty (2003) for Saskatchewan and Alberta. It is now known from limited populations in Washington, Alberta, and Idaho (Webb and McCafferty 2003) and the Flathead River, Montana (McCafferty and Newell, 2007).
