Global Range
H - >2,500,000 square km (greater than 1,000,000 square miles) - H - This is a widespread western bumble bee that ranges from about Saskatoon, Canada south to New Mexico, including parts of North Dakota and Kansas, and west into California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia, but not reaching the Pacific coast in the USA. Along its southern limit, Schmidt and Jacobson (2005) found this species in two of six Arizona mountain ranges.
