H - >2,500,000 square km (greater than 1,000,000 square miles) - H - Not researched in detail but approximately British Columbia to Saskatchewan, south at least to Arizona and New Mexico, east at least to Boulder Colorado in the USA (Kearns and Oliveras, 2009). Schmidt and Jacobsen (2006) found this species in three of the six Arizona mountain ranges they studied. Neither Rao and Stephan (2009) or McFrederick an LeBuhn (2005) report this species in coastal areas.
