Global Range
F - 20,000-200,000 square km (about 8000-80,000 square miles) - F - This species is known from the coastal ranges of western Oregon and California, and more recently from disjunct Idaho and Montana populations. Jacobus et al. (2006) also cite Montana (Sanders Co.) and Washington. Recently several new localities were found in California, Oregon and Washington. Hogue and Hawkins (2008) report new locations in 4 streams draining the western slope of the central and southern Sierra Nevada of California.
