Global Range
CE - 250-20,000 square km (about 100-8000 square miles) - CDE - Formerly known from the Columbia, Snake, and Salmon Rivers in ID, WA and OR. No populations have been found along the Columbia since 1971 or along the lower Snake since the completion of Lower Granite Dam. It still occurs along the Salmon River in ID and may be present along the Snake River in ID.
