Global Range
E - 5000-20,000 square km (about 2000-8000 square miles) - E - Ranges through the temperate rainforest regions of central British Columbia south to northern California, with a few localities in the wetter portions of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Disjunct populations in Oklahoma exist near the southern boundary of the ice sheild from the last ice age (Erikson and Belk, 1999).
