Global Range
E - 5000-20,000 square km (about 2000-8000 square miles) - E - Willamette, lower Columbia, upper Deschutes, and Umpaque Rivers, Oregon; Olympia and San Juan Co., Washington; and Vancouver Island (Burch, 1989). Listed in Kootenay and Wigwam Rivers in British Columbia (Scudder, 1996; Clarke, 1981), but these records have since been discounted (Hershler and Frest, 1996).
