Global Range
C - 250-1000 square km (about 100-400 square miles) - C - USFWS files in 1987 indicate only Logan Creek, Logan Pass, in Glacier National Park. Montana Heritage Program has one other nearby locality. Newell et al. (2006) report it from Glacier National Park in western Montana. Kondratieff and Lechleitner (2002) report it from Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington, representing a significant range expansion westward. It is also known from a single site in the Waterton River drainage, Alberta (Donald and Anderson, 1977).
