A - <100 square km (less than about 40 square miles) - A - Frest and Johannes (1995) report this species as originally described from two widely separated sites in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Walla Walla Co., Washington and Umatilla Co., Oregon but were unable to locate it in a number of sites in the Blue Ridge Mountains between 1991-1994 including the type locality and adjacent areeas in Umatilla National Forest. It is known from only one site in Oregon and one in Washington and repeated surveys of these sites and neaby areas have not located any additional specimens (E. Gaines, OR NHP, pers. comm., 1996; 2010).
