Global Range
C - 250-1000 square km (about 100-400 square miles) - C - Known only from northeastern Chelan Co., Washington. It may occur in Okanogan Co., Washington (Kelley et al., 1999) but intensive surveys there have not found it there (Gaines, pers. comm.). Its known range covers about 70,000 hectares (270 square miles, or 174,000 acres) in eastern Chelan County, in the Entiat and Chelan Ranger Districts (Burke et al., 1999). Sites of current and past known occurrences are all scattered within an area roughly bounded by the Columbia River on the SE, Lake Chelan on the NW to include the Twentyfive Mile Creek drainage, then SW to Tyee Mountain, S to Chumstick Mountain, and following the ridge S and SE to Burch Mountain, then S to the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia Rivers (Burke et al., 1999).
