H - >2,500,000 square km (greater than 1,000,000 square miles) - H - Native to central and western Europe, Iceland, and Greenland (introduced); introduced to northeastern North America, Colorado, the Pacific coast states and other temperate regions of the world (Roth and Sadeghian, 2003). It has also been recorded from Hawaii, Kauai, Molokai, and Maui (Cowie, 1997).
