Global Range
CD - 250-5000 square km (about 100-2000 square miles) - CD - The historic range may have been continuous and thus larger, perhaps 5000 sq. km, but the current range is best described as about a 300 km+ strip of coastline in Washington and Oregon, mostly right along the coast, but extending a few km inland in two places. There is also an isolated population about 240 km to the south in Del Norte Co., California.
